Monica qualified for the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials Marathon in her post collegiate debut. In 2023 Monica set the University of Texas record in the 10,000m run. She is the University of Texas School Record Holder in the 10,000m, a 2-time Honorable Mention All-American, 4-time Academic All-American, and holds top 10 times in the indoor 5,000m (5th) and the outdoor 5,000m (9th).

By day, she is a Management Consultant, but when she's not building models or editing PowerPoints, she enjoys whipping up new recipes and exploring farmers markets.
