After racing the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials, Mitch put an exclamation point on his year with a 2nd place finish at the Indianapolis Monumental Marathon. Having run under 2:17 on multiple occasions, Mitch has established himself as one of the most consistent marathoners in the Southwest.

Mitch moved to Austin 10 years ago to be a part of a young and fun community. He got sober in 2015 and started running again in 2018 after a decade long hiatus from the sport. He found his best friends, career and wife through running. He works in real estate as a realtor and investor. Mitch also enjoys cycling with his wife Jordie and spending time with their three dogs.
