Mike grew up in Massachusetts and ran track all four years of high school. He ran NCAA DI track and field and cross country for Northeastern University and graduated with a degree in finance and accounting.

Mike famously earned the final spot in the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials Marathon after a mad dash to the finish at CIM 2023. After his 57th place finish at the Trials, Mike cemented himself among the nations best at the marathon distance.
